Dirtybird BBQ: Brooklyn! Sunday, August 16th.

This party is going to be out of control. Dirtybird is the booty-house centric label founded by Claude Vonstroke, Justin Martin, and others back in 2005. Since then, the label has grown to astronomical heights of popularity, undoubtedly surpassing any of the founding DJ’s wildest hopes. Every summer, the Dirtybird gang invade a select number of cities and set up shop with their BBQ party, featuring nothing but banging beats, cook-out food, and the labels finest DJ’s. This year’s Brooklyn edition takes place August 16th, at a currently undisclosed Brooklyn location.

39-emd The lineup? Stacked my friends, stacked. Joining boss-dog Claude Vonstroke are fellow Dirtybirds Justin Martin, Shiba San, J.Phlip, and Kill Frenzy. It is hard to beat a single day lineup like that. The Facebook event already has 14,000 ‘Yes’ RSVPs and while that might be a bit much, it would behoove you to purchase tickets (here) before they sell out.

Desert Hearts Presents… City Hearts Brooklyn-Summer of Love Tour 2015: Friday, August 28th.

Not familiar with Desert Hearts? Allow me to introduce them. Desert Hearts is a group of like-minded individuals, a group born out of both the dust from Burning Man and the sun from San Diego. The five founding members are Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Porkchop (Mikey Lions brother), and Deep Jesus. Their mantra? House, Techno, & Love… We Are All Desert Hearts.

Anyone who has attended a Desert Hearts show can attest to the insane vibe and energy that these guys bring. Simply put, they consistently kill it, putting on unique events that showcase top-notch music, intimate, decorative settings and the love they strive so hard to promote. We here at Booty Shakers have been waiting all summer for this party, so mark your calendars and get ready to dance, because this one is going all the way til 6am, at Brooklyn’s The Good Room. Tickets here and only $15, while supplies last!

Paul Kalkbrenner- Live at Secret Brooklyn Warehouse Location: Saturday, August 15th.

Oh shit, this is about to be one hell of a fucking party. Paul Kalkbrenner is a world famous producer hailing from Berlin, known everywhere for his unique, minimal/techy sound that has yet to be replicated anywhere else in dance music. Seriously, Paul is that good. His music is just amazing, uplifting at times, dark and brooding at others, never failing to incite some form of emotion from the listener. On top of that, all of his gigs feature him performing live, recreating his tracks in real time, giving him absolute control over every aspect of his set.

On Saturday, August 15th, Paul is playing a very special, secret, and small party in Brooklyn. The location has not been released, and tickets, as of now, have sold out. The Facebook event currently boasts an absolutely minuscule number of ‘Yes’ RSVPs, sitting currently at 118 (compare that to Dirtybird’s 14k above). Some comments suggest the show will be limited to 100 patrons only. As someone who has already purchased tickets, this is incredibly exciting. A Paul Kalkbrenner show of this size does not come around often, hell Paul himself does not come around often, very rarely making his way over to America. All the more reason to get excited, and a no-brainer for our #1 event in Brooklyn this August!

If you do not want to accept that tickets are fully sold out, you can check back to this link often, who knows, maybe more will be released. See everyone on the dancefloor!
