This is a throwback to those early days of electronic music, when acid house was heard all over the world, from Detroit house parties to U.K. warehouse raves. This track was released about a week ago by The Welderz, and is nothing but pure acid goodness. Off their similarly named EP, Acid & Chord (Original Mix) reminds me very much of Josh Wink, but with a more deep house inspired. The track feels almost tribal, but never strays too far from its acid roots, bouncing back and forth, reaffirming why acid house got big in the first place, it’s awesome! Minimal and hypnotic, save this for an afterhours set, and watch the floor explode.
