GusGus – Crossfade (Maceo Plex Mix) & Alan Fitzpatrick – Skeksis (Original Mix)

Boy do I have a pair of heaters for you guys!  Play these two right after one another, in any order, and I am sure you will have your dance-floor on fire!!! This Maceo Plex remix was released by GusGus off Kompakt Records on April 4th, 2014, along with other Crossfade Remixes by Konstantin Sibold, Michael Mayer and Gluteus Maximus.  This track bumps! The combination of a incredibly deep sound, topped with blissful, hypnotic and catchy vocals will create an amazing vibe for you and your audience!

This second track was introduced to me by friend Tom Dginto, better know as Richard or Thomas.  Anyways, his friend Shyam Anand, or Snad by his DJ/Producer name, gave a request for this track to be played on my weekly radio show. (More on that later) Snad has been killing it though!  As a student at Northeastern, he decided to pursue his dream and moved to Berlin to advance his career as a DJ and producer.  He describes himself as a producer and his tunes definitely project that.  You will quickly recognize Snad’s unique use of bass which will give you the feels like no other.  Here is the link to his soundcloud! –

By the sound of this track that he recommended, I am sure that he roasted a few audiences during his DJ sets! This track is unbelievable!  The deepest, toughest club sound I have ever heard!  This guy is definitely someone I will be checking out more; apparently his BBC 1 Essential Mix from 2011 is just good, so check that out! Once again though, Skeksis mixed to Crossfade (Maceo Plex Mix) and you will be a very well liked DJ! 😉
